Dear Friends and Colleagues, It gives us a great pleasure to announce that

MOTOR CONTROL CONFERENCE VII - MCC2010

entitled

FROM BASIC MOTOR CONTROL TO FUNCTION RECOVERY - VII

is going to take place from 24 - 27 September 2010 Varna, BULGARIA

 

         The MOTOR CONTROL CONFERENCE (MCC) is an event with a long standing tradition inviting the participation and interest of leading scientists and clinicians in the Motor Control area, addressing from basic mechanisms in Motor Control area to functional restoration of Posture and Gait.

First Motor Control Conference (MCC1999) was launched in Varna, September 1999 and became an open Forum, which every two years, from ideas to implemented results in Motor Control area are presented, discussed and new ideas are born.

 

In the PREFACE to the First Motor Control Conference Book MCC1999, containing presented papers at the Motor Control Conference during the Fall of 1999 we wrote:

 

           "We look forward to further developments in the field of MOTOR CONTROL, which is a challenging and exciting life theme. We would like to believe that the organization of the FORUM ON MOTOR CONTROL is a step towards future communication among clinicians and scientists in their efforts to understand the "mysterious functions" of our Brain, aiming at a final outcome of improving the daily motor activity of Patients with Posture and Gait incapabilities."

 

The Motor Control Conference MCC is proposed and organized with its main goal to address the problems of Posture and Movement control and with the aim to provide an open Forum, where the link between clinical and theoretical points of view on Motor Control can be addressed, analyzed and enriched on the basis of exchanging new ideas and sharing experience.

The topics of the Motor Control Conference are directed to various aspects of Posture and Movement control, from basic mechanisms to the clinical aspects of the recovery of motor function, specific problems of body balance, co-ordination of posture and movements, and analysis of locomotion with special emphasis on clinical studies of movement disorders.

We will be very happy to welcome the participation of many friends and colleagues in this Forum on Motor Control united by their particular interest discussing the exciting mechanisms related to the daily motor activity of the living beings, sharing their ideas, knowledge and experience in an unique atmosphere of understanding and mutual respect.
